The Romadel Story

It all started because the founder of the company had to pee.

The year was 2003. The city was Boston.

David drank a few too many cups of Dunkin Donuts coffee and had to use the restroom.

Being that he was near his house, David walked up the 4 flights of stairs and rushed inside to use the toilet.

Something strange happened on the way to the loo and to this day we are not sure why, but David turned on the TV.

As he was doing his thing, he heard that Kobe Bryant was arrested and that gave him an idea.

Before he left the house to go back to work, David bought the domain name FreeKobe.com for 8 dollars, left the house and continued with his day.

Later that night, he put up the website as a joke and the rest is history.

FreeKobe.com grew to be an internet sensation literally overnight and David realized that while having people come to the website was nice, making money was even nicer.

Within a week, a full e commerce site was launched taking full advantage of the 3 million unique hits freekobe was getting a day.

When the trial ended, David realized that people who know how to provide great content, don't always know how to monetize the traffic.

Romadel was born.

Not many companies started because of a weak bladder.

Ours did and thank G-d for that.
